Last Time On Another Feudal Fairy Tale
After a full recovery, Sango and her friends discovered that she was a ninja descendant and possessed chakra. Tsunade gave her a quick understanding of how to control it and sent her off to one of the training grounds to practice, where she ran into and met Kakashi Hatake and Naruto Uzumaki. Being a very quick learner, Sango is impressing everyone and catching Kakashi impressed and Naruto's heart. Gaining a free training session with Kakashi, Inuyasha and the others are excited to see how much more capable she's of and how much of a challenge she can be against them. Another Feudal Fairy Tale Chapter 10 Page 104 Sango Vrs. Jane

Inuyasha's P.O.V

“Hey!” I was startled when Jane woke me up by pulling on my bare foot. What's with this girl? She laughed and dropped her body on top of me and my covers in a lazy and sleepy way.

“We've slept in long enough, don't you think?” She said stretching. My eyebrows dropped.

“Get off.” I told her. She chuckled as she hid her head under a pillow. Why was she in such a good mood? I took a minute too look around the room and noticed that Miroku and Sango's mats were empty and remembered where we were. The Hidden Leaf Village. Sango was most likely practicing her chakra control and Miroku was keeping an eye on her. He has been unusually protective of her lately.

Jane peaked at me with one eye from under the navy blue pillow. Her silver iris shinning from the afternoon sun...blinking beautifully at my direction...I twitched and reapplied her face with the cushion.

“Tssk.” I grunted. “Aren't you suppose to be at the training ground with Sango?”

Jane pushed herself up so that she sat on her knees in front of me, tidying her messy hair. “Yeah but I thought you wanted to come along too.”

“I'll catch up.” I said and layed back down with my eyes closed.

“Wow. Loka really tired you out, huh?” Her voice was coming from right in front of me. When I opened my eyes, I realized she was just inches from me. Had it not been for the covers, her body would be making contact with mine.

“Jeeze!” I shifted. “You're such a pain! Don't you know the definition of personal space?”

She moved over to her mat and started sliding her fur boots on with her back facing me.

“I'm going to see how far Sango has gone. Come if you want.” She said without looking at me. Was she mad? Girls are so freakin' weird!

When she left, I tried to rest a bit longer but it was impossible with all this silence. Sigh.

Third Training Ground

Kakashi, Naruto, Sango, Miroku
Narrator's P.O.V

“Hyah!” Sango continued to throw punches at Kakashi and as he dodged them, she did the same. They continued to go at it, getting Sango used to hand to hand combat with the use of chakra to increase the intensity of each blow.

“You're too slow.” Kakashi said. “Come at me with everything you've got.”

“Grrr, get him, Sango!” Naruto called in frustration. “You can take that over grown poor excuse of an elite!”

Kakashi chuckled as he continued to dodge Sango's attacks.

“I can definitely feel Sango getting stronger.” Miroku commented.

“I can take her.” Jane interrupted when she arrived at the arena, catching Naruto and Miroku off guard.

“Jane! Finally.” Miroku said, turning his gaze back to Sango. “Where's Inuyasha?”

Jane sat down on the grass in between the boys. “Wow, look at them go!” She ignored Miroku, watching Sango and Kakashi fighting with weapons now.

“Yeah!” Naruto fist pumped, enjoying the show.

“Sango has already learned to climb trees without using her hands, make clones of herself and transform and change her appearance. It's outstanding.” Miroku explained.

“What? Wow! That's so amazing!” Jane's eyes widened and she his the envy behind them.

“That's it!” Kakashi said, forced to block her attacks now. Sango was sweating and breathing hard, too focused to acknowledge the compliment as charged at him with her sword. Kakashi jumped back so that he was at a distance.

“Very nice.” He complimented. Sango smiled.

“Thank you. I really feel stronger now. I wonder how my chakra will give me an advantage in our own realm where I will be the only one with these kinds of skills.”

Jane saw Inuyasha coming into the arena and rolled her eyes. “Let's find out!” She said to Sango.

“Huh?”

Jane jogged over to her and Kakashi and put both hands on her hips when she came to a stop. “You wanna see how you fare? Let's have a brawl. Just you and me.”

Kakashi closed his eyes and started his way off the arena.

“Cool! They're gunna fight!” Naruto said, rocking his legs in excitement. Sango took a sip of water from her iron water bottle, compliments of Kagome, and wiped the sweat off her forehead.

“Sounds like fun.”

“What's going on?” Inuyasha asked Miroku when he sat next to him at the same time that Kakashi did.

“I think they're going to fight.” Miroku said, blinking a few times.

“Here I come! Haaaaaa-” Jane charged at Sango, directing her elbow to her face. Sango crossed her arms and blocked the attack just before attempting to strike back but failed when Jane dodged her assault and ducked to the ground. She swung her leg to trip Sango, but instead, Sango jumped over her and swung her leg around to kick Jane's head. Jane threw her head back in time so that she missed, pushed her palms backward and forced her weight toward her bottom half of her body so that she was on her feet again. Both girls smiled.

“I didn't know the girls were so skilled at close combat.” Miroku said, impressed. Inuyasha huffed.

“You're not even trying.” Sango said to Jane and Jane laughed shyly.

“Haha, yeah but you're not really using your new skills on me either.” She said and Sango sighed.

“Guilty.” She said. “I'll use them when you start to prove yourself a challenge.”

Jane's eyes widened. “Well, Sango. I didn't know you were the type to talk dirty.” Jane cracked her knuckles and changed her stance. “Alright then. I'm coming at you with full force, no holding back.”

And she wasn't kidding. Jane pulled out the pocket knife from her pouch and flung it open, holding it like a dagger and made her way for Sango. Sango let out her hidden weapon and blocked Jane's assault, spinning around and aiming for Jane's stomach with the back of her heal. Jane just made the dodge and backed off, making room in between them once again.

“They're evenly matched.” Naruto said.

“Neither of them even landed a hit.” Miroku said.

“Wait.” Kakashi explained. “Sango hasn't used any of her chakra yet.” Kakashi was sure that Sango would over power Jane.

“Don't forget, Jane has her magic, too.” Inuyasha added, catching both ninja's attention. “She's no push over, I'll tell you that much.”

“Both girls also refuse to go to their limits because they're friends. This is just an amiable brawl and nothing more. We'll never know who's stronger.” Miroku added.

“Huh?” Jane said when she saw Sango perform a hand sign. Suddenly, she disappeared along with everything else and Jane was left alone in a blank white space of nothingness with only a few chains keeping her frozen in place. “Wh-what's going on?”

“What's wrong with her, why isn't she moving?” Inuyasha asked, standing up.

“Genjuitsu!” Naruto noticed.

“Genjuitsu?” Miroku wondered and Kakashi nodded.

“It's a technique that can be used with chakra to create an illusion to distract your opponent. Sango mastered it very quickly.” Kakashi explained.

At that second, Sango began throwing a series of punches to Jane while she was under her jujitsu, finally landing the first couple of hits. Jane wasn't able to detect where the pain was coming from or what to do, but she knew that this had to be from something that Sango picked up.

When she realized that it was probably some sort of trick, Jane began to glow, catching everyone's attention, especially that of Naruto and Kakashi. In a few short seconds, Jane's light emitted and changed her, transforming her into her all around form. When she did this, she was able to grab the disk from her ancle and temporarily stun all things from a short range around her. When she succeeded in doing this, reality was slowly starting to return to her mind and she spotted a stunned Sango just a few feet away. When she noticed her slight lead, she reapplied her disk to her ancle, spun around and kicked Sango backwards into the dirt.

“Hm. I just noticed that Jane has shorts beneath her garb. What a shame.” Miroku said as a matter of fact. Inuyasha's ears twitched at the comment, including Naruto, who sweat-dropped.

Proud of herself, Jane smiled and decided to give Sango the chance to stand up. As she did, she put another hand sign together and created two shadow clones. Jane jumped back in surprise, happy of course, as Sango and her clones grabbed her heraicotsu and flung it at Jane's direction. Dodging the weapons, Jane laughed.

“This is nuts, Sango.” She said impressed as she knelt near the floor, however due to her lack of focus, Jane had forgotten that her weopons were making a full turn, and headed for her again. Sango jumped back to prepare to catch them and warned Jane.

“Jane, look out!” She said and as Jane turned around, it was too late. The heraicotsu was inches away from her and she would be hit for sure. Luckily, Inuyasha was there to deflect all three.

Inuyasha stood there with his back facing Jane and after a few awkward seconds, he turned around to confront her.

“You idiot! That was a weak attack! You could have blocked that easily!” He yelled as Sango's clones vanished.

“Yes...” Sango said softly. “I wouldn't have thrown them if I didn't know Jane could take it...”

“Your technique is rusty! What's wrong with you?” Inuyasha complained and Jane's eyebrows arched as she stood up to her feet to match Inuyasha's level.

“Who asked you to interfear?!” She yelled back. “I don't need your help!”

Jane huffed as she turned her direction back to Sango and tided the messiness of her skirt. “Come on Sango, let's continue.”

Sango's expression became sad. She didn't want to fight Jane when something was troubling her. She wouldn't be at her best. The others saw this and came over to the arena.

“Tsk!” Inuyasha hissed. “You're pathetic.”

At this. Jane spun around and made a jump to attack Inuyasha but was stopped by Kakashi and Miroku.

“Woah!” They said, “Calm down, Jane.”

“What the hell?” Inuyasha said to himself, taking a step back and looking into the eyes of the angry half demon. She stared back in his and he noticed that her eyes weren't so friendly as they were from this morning and he wondered what it was that he might have said to upset her this much.
