TEASER: Two Hearts Two Faces~A Deal With Destiny

It was mid-day on the island and the sun was shining brightly, just enough so its powerful rays wouldn’t over heat the sparkling sand on the shore. The ocean waves danced below the singing seagulls and splashed against the rocks of the edge of the living landmass. Suddenly, the smoothness of the sand was unperfected by a large foot in a sneaker decorated with gold-yellow straps, pushing back against the gravel and taking off. Sora launched himself at Roxas, pushing all of his strength into his Keyblade to land a good hit. Roxas laughed when he barely dodged the blow and pushed Sora with his forarm into the warm sand.

“Hey, Roxas! I thought we agreed , Keyblades only.” Sora said, sitting upright with his legs crossed.

“So, I got a little carried away.” Roxas said, sitting down next to Sora. “It WAS pretty funny.”

Sora responded with a pathetic smile and leaned back supporting his weight on his palms, breathing in the clean air and aroma of ripe coconuts of the nearby palm trees. He was finally back home and he was there to stay this time, only to leave when visiting Donald, Goofy and the King. Sora’s mind was quickly wandering from world to world, revisiting all of his friends when his thoughts were interrupted.

“Come on, Sora.” Roxas said with his friendly smile. “Just because it’s a Saturday afternoon, doesn’t mean we should be slacking off.” Sora knew that Roxas was referring to the chores that awaited them at home. The apartment won’t clean itself. Sora stood up after Roxas and they both began making their way off the beach. However, before entering the bush, Roxas noticed two girls on the beach that he had never seen before. Roxas  stopped in his path and put an arm out to block Soras.

“Hey Sora? Who are they?” Roxas asked. He was still new on the island and Sora knew just about everything there was to know about it. Sora looked in the same direction as Roxas and he froze in place. He had never seen them before, that was for certain.

Later that evening, Roxas met up with Sora and Riku who were resting on their favourite distorted tree. The evening weather on the island never got colder than a chill and that was Roxas’s favourite thing about his new home. He spent the majority of the conversation just listening in on Sora and Riku’s discussions about school or complaints about girls and even arguments about competitions, until he remembered something.
“Hey Riku, have you seen any strange girls around the island?” Roxas asked.
“Oh yeah!” Sora responded as energetic as ever before giving a quick description.
“Oh them.” Riku said. “I don’t know much about them, they’re kind of a mystery. Except…”

Riku didn’t mention where they were from or who they were; in fact he was just as clueless as Roxas and Sora. However, he did know one single thing about them that he shared and that were their names. Their very odd and curious names. Mary Jane and Shannel.
